Who was Connor on General Hospital? Get to know Nikolas Cassadine’s doppelganger

General Hospital fans are getting the chance to enjoy some classic throwback episodes while production is on halt amid the ongoing pandemic.

And these episodes have helped to bring some forgotten-about characters such as Connor Bishop back to the forefront.

Some viewers might remember that Connor was a character that featured on the show from October 2004 to January 2005.

But for those who don’t, we’ve got the details you need to know about Nikolas Cassadine’s doppelganger.

Who is Connor Bishop on General Hospital?

The character of Connor Bishop will look familiar to GH fans because he was the Nikolas Cassadine look-a-like who was also played by Tyler Christopher.

Yep, Tyler played both parts for several months after Connor arrived in Port Charles to get revenge on Nikolas.

He blamed Nikolas for the death of his wife, Mary Bishop. Back when Nik was suffering from amnesia, Mary and told him that he was her husband (who had supposedly died in battle).

But when it was revealed that he wasn’t and Mary went on a rampage and ended up dying.

Connor kidnapped Emily Quatermaine in order to try and hurt Nik, but Emily convinced him not to do it.

In fact, Connor fell in love with Emily and tried to get her to leave Nik for him.

Sadly, he became too violent and attacked Emily, who had to shoot him in self-defence.

General Hospital airs weekdays at 12pm (ET) on ABC.
