If a garage-full of boating equipment, flashy vintage cars and sleek motorbikes is a little out of your price range, a new invention can at least give the impression that you're the most stylish person on the street.

A collection of stick-on murals designed to attach to garage doors create incredible optical illusions that would make any nosy neighbour envious of your lifestyle.

The lifelike designs are made to fit double and single garage doors up to 16ft tall. For just £84, the buyer can boast of owning a racing car, plane or luxury yacht.

The stickers also depict items that would have no chance of fitting in a garage, including aeroplanes and even an alien spaceship.

The huge designs are attached with velcro and take just half an hour to put up.

Verena Lenninghausen, 32, the company's general manager, said: 'Garage doors have always been grey and ugly there, and very often spoil the appearance of well maintained homes. He came up with the idea to style garage doors.

'The printed-on 3D motifs are deceptively realistic, and will cause neighbours, friends and passers-by to stop and stare.

'The garage billboards are made from an exclusive special material, they are not dissimilar to truck tarpaulins, but have a finer structure.

'The material is rip-proof and can be cut without damaging it, and it is completely weather-proof. Then attach the strips one by one.

'The garage billboard can also be cut to fit the individual door sections on wing doors and secured in place.

'The response has been amazing. After having fixed it to their garage, the customers often contact us to say how much they and their neighbours like it.'
