On a normal day, you might miss Fountain's Victory Tabernacle on Highway 231, but lately, it's been a sight for sore eyes for the people of northern Bay County.

Kathy Crider, the Pastor, Fountain's Victory Tabernacle said, "All day long we are having to unload but we are giving out, we just keep giving it out and it just keeps multiplying back."

The church is collecting and giving out supplies and has gathered enough to fill their whole church and a few tents outside and give back to residents what they need the most.

Crider added, "It's everything, you can't pinpoint one thing they need because they need everything."

Deana Pitts from the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ said, "There was hardly anything when we started here Tuesday and the Lord has really blessed them."

Donations have come from across the county and across the country.

Pitts added, "We could be in their shoes and it makes me feel good that so many people from all over, we've had people from North Carolina drop off here."

Pastor Crider says food, water, and cleaning supplies are the most requested items but they're also offering up hot meals, saying, "There is food from all the way from my church to the next following church, there's food all up here."

In fact, there have been so many people wanting to donate, some, like the Hartford Food Pantry, had to be rerouted to the First Baptist Church of Fountain, where they were smoking chicken and serving smiles.

Rosetter Gomes, of the Hartford Food Pantry, said, "Our pastor was traveling back and forth and talking to a state trooper and he said, 'Nobody is there, it's a small area.' and we said, 'We'll be glad to come!' and here we are."

Whether it's a plate of food or a case of water, the Tabernacle wants the people of Fountain to know they're not forgotten.

Pitts explained, "We still got a lot of love for one another and there's still a lot of God."
