Gentleman's Club Cocktail Waitress Found with Heroin Cooker in Denny's Parking Lot: Cops
Cops say something was cooking at Denny's, and it wasn't a Grand Slam breakfast.
A gentlemen’s club cocktail waitress was arrested when police found a hypodermic needle and heroin cooker while investigating a suspicious car complaint at Denny’s, reports said.
According to the report, employees at Denny’s, 9217 S. Cicero Ave., said a woman, later identified as Dana Bruzzese, 39, came into the restaurant to use the restroom around 8:20 a.m. Dec. 1.
After using the restroom, Bruzzese left the restaurant and got into a black Toyota with three other male passengers. Employees reported that Bruzzese and her companions remained inside the car for quite some time, reports said.

When police arrived, they saw the car parked in the rear of the lot with the engine running. Officers said they noticed a hypodermic needle and an aluminum can formed into a heroin cooker lying in plain view on the center console.
Bruzzese allegedly admitted driving to Denny’s but denied the hypodermic and cooker belonged to her, as did the three men who were with her.

The men were released without being charged, but Bruzzese was arrested and brought to the Oak Lawn police station.
There, officers found four additional hypodermic needles and a glass crack pipe in her purse, police said.
She was charged with possession of drug equipment and possession of a hypodermic needle.
Bruzzese appeared in bond court later in the day where bail was set at $10,000.
The assistant public defender mentioned that several other people were in the car with her when the drug paraphernalia was found.
