Karlie Kloss models in CR Women 2019 calendar for breast cancer charity

Karlie Kloss has posed in pink for the new CR Women 2019 calendar to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
The supermodel has shot the calendar in partnership with her beauty brand collaborator Estee Lauder and will donate all funds from the calendar to the organisation, which has a special place in Karlie’s heart as her own mother was diagnosed with the disease at 35 years old.
Other models including Joan Smalls, Grace Elizabeth and Halima Aden are also featured in CR Fashion Book’s second annual calendar, as well as Elizabeth Hurley.
For Karlie’s snap, she was wrapped up in a girly pink puffa coat with her hair slicked back, and minimal blush make-up on her eyes and cheeks.
“Tickled pink in @crfashionbook #CRWomen2019 Calendar with @esteelauder,” the 26-year-old wrote alongside the photo, which she shared on Instagram. “100% of the calendars selling price goes to @bcrfcure (a cause personally very near to my heart!).”
Karlie, who married businessman Joshua Kushner in October (18), was shot by Mario Sorrenti, and the campaign is said to be a tribute to women’s strength and beauty, which has been inspired by the natural uniqueness and ethereality of flowers mixed with the pink ribbon symbol for breast cancer awareness.
“(My mum’s) fight with breast cancer shook our family to the core, and I am humbled to be a part of a campaign that supports other breast cancer fighters, survivors and their families,” Karlie told reporters at People magazine. “My mum is the most resilient, beautiful and courageous person I know. Because this cause has so much personal significance, it was especially meaningful for me to be part of this project.”
The calendar can be purchased online from the official websites of CR Fashion Book and Estee Lauder.
