Film mogul and tax consultant Kieran Corrigan backs studio in Ashbourne

Film producer and tax consultant Kieran Corrigan is promoting plans for movie and television studios at Ashbourne in Co Meath.

Corrigan, who runs Merlin Films with veteran director John Boorman, is fronting the plan for three large buildings at the Ashbourne Business Park, to accommodate the studios. The business park is close to the M2 motorway, about 25km from Dublin.

The studio complex would also include make-up rooms, workshops, training areas, post-production facilities, animation and CGI facilities, plus offices and dining and recreational space. The overall development would span about 11,300 metres of buildings with scope for outdoor film sets and parking.
