Copeland at Milford Hills 

Milford Hills United Methodist Church welcomes Rev. Dr. Jennifer Copeland, executive director of the NC Council of Churches, as guest speaker on Sunday at the at 8:30 and 11 a.m. services. Dr. Copeland was a pastor to SC United Methodist churches, and was the United Methodist Chaplain at Duke University where she continues to teach. She is also an author, often contributing to The Upper Room Disciplines.

The Parables for Christ

Music at Pine Ridge Baptist

CHINA GROVE — The Parables for Christ will sing on Sunday at the 10 a.m. service at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 880 Old Linn Road. There will be no Sunday school. Following the service, lunch will be served.

NorthGate Church, 1255 W. Ridge Road, will host guest speaker Doug Roberts on Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. service. Doug farmed and ranched in Oklahoma for 25 years. Since that time Doug has ministered in many countries and throughout the United States.

FUMC temporary location

First United Methodist Church of Salisbury will worship in Catawba College’s Omwake-Dearborn Chapel Sunday at 11 a.m. due to the church building’s heating system undergoing repairs.

Christ Lambs Church Ministries

For three years Christ Lambs Church Ministries Inc. has been partnering with the Christian community of Salisbury and other parts of North Carolina and the United States.On Sunday at 1 p.m. the CLCM Mission, under the leadership of Rev. Windsong  Ensemble at Grace Lower Stone

The Windsong Recorder Ensemble will perform at Grace Lower Stone Reformed Church, Rowan County’s oldest house of worship in continuous use, on Sunday at 5:30 p.m., offering a prelude for a Community Lenten Service, which begins at 6 p.m.

A Lenten hymn, “Es Ist Vollbracht!” (“It Is Finished!”, anglicized,) found in a German hymnal used by the congregation in the late 1700s, will be sung by John Allmon during the service.
