Lovers of motorsport will instantly recognise the legend in this fabulous photo from the late 1970s.

It is the late, great British Formula One racing driver James Hunt who is pictured on a visit to Donington Park in June 1979.

We would love to know the identity of the nurses who were clearly enjoying having their photo taken with the popular driving ace.

Just three years earlier, Hunt had won the Formula One World Championship and he retired from racing in the year the photo was taken.

According to the caption with the photo, they were all at the track for the Gunnar Nilsson Memorial Race.

The Swedish racing driver had died of testicular cancer the previous year and a charitable foundation was set up in his name.

The event was organised to raise money for the foundation and these nurses were obviously asked along to help rattle some collecting tins.

Hunt died of a heart attack at the age of just 45 in 1993.
