The Houston Astros and the Texas Rangers play a four game series in Arlington to open the 2018 season, and the Astros have announced their starting pitchers for the series.

Justin Verlander will take the mound for Houston on Opening Day, facing off against Cole Hamels of the Rangers. Dallas Keuchel will pitch Friday’s game, followed by Lance McCullers, Jr., and Gerrit Cole in the weekend’s games.

The Rangers have not announced the order of their rotation after Hamels. However, with Martin Perez still working his way back from a broken elbow, and the Rangers will most likely have Mike Minor, Doug Fister and Matt Moore going up against the Astros, in some sort of order.

The opener on Thursday, March 29, will be at 2:35, and the Friday, March 30 game is a 7:05 start. Saturday’s game is a 3:05 start, and features an Adrian Beltre bobblehead, while Easter Sunday’s game is a 2:05 start.
