'I Love the 90s' comes to Nashville

Some of the biggest hip-hop and R&B hits of the 1990s — and the tail end of the '80s, to be honest — will fill Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Friday, as the "I Love the 90s" concert tour comes to town.

The tour's headliner is Salt-N-Pepa, the trailblazing female hip-hop duo who ruled the radio with "Shoop," "Whatta Man" and "Push It," among others.

They'll be joined rap hitmaker Coolio, best known for "Gangsta's Paradise" and his gravity-defying dreadlocks. Then there's All-4-One, who turned a Nashville country ballad into the song of summer (of '94): "I Swear."

Rounding out the bill are three of rap's earliest pop successes: Tone Loc ("Wild Thing"), Kid 'n Play ("Rollin' with Kid n' Play") and Young MC ("Bust a Move").

Tickets are $25-$85, and Friday's show starts at 7:30 p.m.
