“I would like to encourage you to remind your student that we take all reports of inappropriate comments and threats seriously. Likewise, students who make credible threats will be disciplined to the fullest extent allowable by law and District policy,” Morgan said in his statement.

On Tuesday morning officials in Sheridan ISD, in east Harris County of a social media threat at C.E. King Middle School.

After two Fort Bend area students were arrested for making threats against school campuses last week, Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls urged students to think twice before making threats at schools.

"This isn't fun and games," Nehls said. "Once it reaches us here, the game is over. It's no fun anymore. We take these threats very seriously."

On Tuesday, two more Fort Bend students made threats to schools.

One at the Harmony School in katy again, and the latest at Needville Junior High, south of Rosenberg.

Both students were charged and are being held in the Fort Bend County Juvenile Detention Center.

Nehls once again urged parents to have a conversation with their children about what they post on social media, and the consequences of posting anything related to threatening school violence.

"Parents need to parent, and have a casual conversation with their kids," he said.
