Drug trafficking charges are pending Tuesday morning for two suspects found with over three ounces of meth in Middlesboro last night.
Officers acted on tips about several rental storage units being used to store and traffic the drugs.
A warrant was obtained after a drug detection dog confirmed reports.
18-year-old Steven King and 19-year-old Dakota Owens were both arrested and face charges of trafficking controlled substance.
The three ounces of meth has a street value of over $9,000.
They’re both being held in the Bell County detention center this morning.
The investigation is still ongoing.
