Hands of Stone Blu-ray

Posted October 25, 2016 01:33 PM by

Anchor Bay EntertainmentAnchor Bay Home Entertainment will release writer/director Jonathan Jakubowicz's Hands of Stone on Blu-ray in late November. The boxing drama stars Robert De Niro, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Édgar Ramírez, Ana de Armas, Ellen Barkin and John Turturro, and streets on November 22nd.

Official Synopsis: Hands of Stone follows the life of Roberto Durán (Edgar Ramírez), the Panamanian fighter who, with the help of his trainer Ray Arcel (Robert De Niro) made his professional debut in 1968 as a 16 year old and retired in 2002 at the age of 50. In June 1980, he defeated Sugar Ray Leonard (Usher Raymond) to capture the WBC welterweight title, but shocked the boxing world by returning to his corner in their November rematch, famously saying the words 'no más' ('no more').

Hands of Stone is presented in 1080p with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround, and is being made available in a Blu-ray/Digital HD combo pack. Anchor Bay has yet to detail special features.
