Wakeland junior left back Trejean Bowman and the Wolverines are cruising to the state tournament for the fourth straight year.

The goal that sent the Wakeland boys soccer team to state for the fourth consecutive season was no fluke.

Last Saturday, the Wolverines narrowly defeated Mount Pleasant, 1-0, thanks to a score with roughly 10 minutes remaining by junior midfielder William Hitchcock on a brilliant header in the box.
