NEW DELHI: A day after bludgeoning Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) attack to score a match-winning century, Chris Gayle is celebrating the second birthday of his daughter Kris-Allyna Gayle.
On Friday, the big-hitting Kings XI Punjab opener posted a video on his Instagram account in which he can be seen sharing an adorable moment with his daughter who turns two today.

On Thursday night at Mohali's PCA Stadium, Gayle lit up the IPL with the first century of season 11 - and it was an innings that rolled back the years.


At the age of 38, he slammed an unbeaten 104 off 63 deliveries to set up KXIP's third win of the season, and later when accepting the Man-of-the-Match award, thanked his new franchise's director of cricket operations Virender Sehwag for "saving the IPL".
He also dedicated the hundred to his daughter. "This hundred is dedicated to my daughter. Tomorrow is her birthday," he said after his destructive knock
And thanked Virender Sehwag, KXIP mentor, for saving the IPL by buying him at the January auction. "I think Virender Sehwag saved the IPL by picking me (in the January auctions). Everyone says I have a lot to prove. I am just here to put some respect on my name," he said.
