Shannon Beador: Jim Bellino just wants to ruin my finances in lawsuit

Shannon Beador doesn’t have the time or money for Jim Bellino.

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star filed court documents in Bellino’s ongoing $1 million defamation lawsuit against her and Tamra Judge, telling the judge that Bellino has no right to her text messages and emails and that he shouldn’t be allowed to depose Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley, per court papers obtained by The Blast.

Beador argued that if Bellino is allowed to depose the couple and seek documents from her she will have to spend tens of thousands of dollars for his “fishing expedition for information irrelevant” to his lawsuit as she does not believe that the couple “will be able to provide any admissible evidence of any ‘anger’ or ‘ill will’ that [she] harbors against the Bellinos.”

Beador, 54, also wants the suit dismissed on the basis that she joined the Bravo hit in 2014 after Bellino, 56, and his ex-wife Alexis left the franchise and that her statements were not defamatory towards him.

“The trampoline park and its legal troubles have already been the subject of public interest and press. Ms. Beador was simply repeating something she had heard,” the documents read.

Bellino first filed a suit against Beador and Judge after they allegedly “peddled lies about is divorce, his personal reputation and business,” on Heather McDonald’s podcast in June.

He asked the court to allow him to depose Smiley and Rossi last month because he claimed they can testify on his behalf — a claim that the couple publicly denied after his filing.

Judge already filed to have the suit dismissed as well.

A judge has yet to rule.
