HOGANSVILLE, GA (WTVM) - Residents of Hogansville may have to find a new route over the next couple of days as a new television series prepares to film some scenes.

According to the Hogansville City Manager, Stalwart Films is doing prep work to a couple of the city's areas ahead of Sept. 6 filming for an AMC series.

Traffic on East Main St. between Oak St. and Johnson St. will be detoured until Friday, Sept. 7.

On Wednesday, Sept. 5, Stalwart Films will be dressing building fronts, placing greenery, dropping off vehicles and setting up equipment.

Filming will begin around 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6 and wrap up around 8:00 p.m. the same day.

Crews will be filming at City Hall and Commerce St.

Residents needing to get into City Hall can park at the PNC Bank building and be shuttled over to City Hall.

There is no word on which series is being filmed.

All roads are expected to re-open on Friday, Sept. 7.
