Five in custody connected to armed robbery during a drug deal

OXFORD TOWNSHIP - Two men wanted in relation to a shooting last Wednesday in Tuscarawas County are in custody of the Tuscarawas County Sheriff's Office. 

The sheriff's office said a juvenile from Newcomerstown received non-life threatening injuries during an armed robbery in which a handgun had been involved in Oxford Township. Detective Adam Fisher said the shooting happened along a roadway during a drug transaction, but could not reveal more information as investigation into the incident is ongoing.

On Friday, it had announced that Samantha S. Owen and Ian A. Cultrona were in custody and charged with complicity to commit aggravated robbery. Warrants for aggravated robbery were issued for Douglas M. Casteel and Lucian A. Lambes in relation to the incident.

The sheriff's office said Lambes was spotted about noon Monday driving a 2007 Ford Taurus in Uhrichsville. Officers attempted to stop Lambes and a high speed chase ensured. He was eventually taken into custody in Uhrichsville. Fisher said the chase lasted 10 to 15 minutes and reached speeds of more than 100 mph.

On Monday evening, the Akron Police Department received a tip on Casteel's whereabouts. Authorities responded to the location in Akron and took Casteel into custody. He was transferred to the Tuscrawas County Sheriff's Office.

Casteel and Lambes are incarcerated in the Tuscarawas County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery and Fisher expected initial court hearings for both later this week. 

Additionally, Lisa Freetage of West Lafayette was arrested in Stark County by the Ohio State Highway Patrol early Saturday morning in relation to the incident. She was officially charged on Monday with complicity to commit aggravated robbery and had her vehicle seized.
