Theodore Dwayne Sims, 47, was arrested Thursday, a day after the crime, in Harker Heights, about 20 miles west of Temple.

He's being held in the Bell County Jail with bail set at $500,000, records show.

Sims once worked at the same auto parts store as the victims, Cody Glenn Cornell, 25, and Robert Joseph Pellerin III, 35. It's unclear what the motive might have been.

Police have not said how the men died, but authorities say Sims showed up hours earlier at another auto parts store where he'd been fired, armed with a shotgun.

The NAPA workers ran away, and no shots were fired. The confrontation was captured on surveillance video, and Sims fled in his 2004 Nissan.

The next time Sims and his car turned up was in Temple, near the O'Reilly Auto Parts where Cornell's and Pellerin's bodies were found.
