DEVOTED ink fans are really putting their backs into this gorgeous new trend for spine tattoos.

The delicate tattoo designs have caused a stir on Instagram, where ink lovers have been proudly sharing their beautiful designs just in time for a skin-baring summer.

Famous New York tattoo salon Bang Bang, which has left its mark on everyone from David Beckham to Katy Perry and Justin Bieber to Rihanna, has been leading the charge as usual.
The salon has been leaving fans in awe of their amazing mini masterpieces posted on instagram to their almost two million followers.

Luckily, the spine is considered an area of only medium pain for a tattoo, unlike the inner arm, wrists or feet which are often described as the most agonising locations.
