RBC Wealth Management enticed away a top-ranked advisor from Merrill Lynch, the latest in a series of departures from the wealth management giant, which is owned by Bank of America.

Stephen P. McGovern, an advisor with 26 years experience in the business, joined RBC in Stuart, Fla. He oversaw $800 million in client assets, according to RBC.
