The heart of Naxxar will be transformed into a Christmas village today and tomorrow in an activity being organised by the local council.

Entertainment will include band marches, performances by leading entertainers and parades. There will be a Christmas market, food stalls, children’s games and exhibitions.

There will also be a live crib in Labour Avenue, with some 40 actors taking part, today between 6 and 11pm and from 2.30 to 9pm tomorrow.

Santa Claus will also greet visitors at the Victory Band Club from 6-7pm today and from 2.30 to 7.30pm in St Lucy Street, tomorrow.

Various Mini Minors by the Malta Mini Owners Club will be on display  in Labour Avenue between 6 and 10pm today and from 2.30 to 10pm tomorrow.

A procession with Baby Jesus will pass through St Lucy Street, September 21 Avenue and Labour Avenue between 5.15 and 6pm tomorrow.

There will be entertainment on two stages set up in the main square while the main road will be decorated with hundreds of Christmas lamps.

Today’s activities are being held between 6 and 11pm; tomorrow from 2 to 9pm.
