Bravo isn’t separating from its scripted divorce drama any time soon. The network picked up Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorcefor three more seasons Wednesday, meaning that the series will run for at least five seasons.

Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce is Bravo’s first foray into scripted programming, a territory the Real Housewives network clearly is putting more weight behind with this renewal, that of its only other scripted show, Odd Mom Out, and its pick-up of a third scripted show, My So-Called Wife. The dramedy series follows a group of 40-something women who have recently separated from their husbands, led by self-help author Abby McCarthy (Lisa Edelstein).

The second season of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, which recently concluded, saw an influx of notable guest stars, including Megan Hilty, Retta, and Carrie Fisher. The series was created and is executive produced by Marti Noxon, the co-creator of one of Lifetime’s two running scripted dramas, UnREAL.
