OREGON, Mo. Dennie Roscoe McCourt III, passed away in Oregon, on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the age of 27.
He was born in Omaha, Nebraska, to Ann (Tackett) and Dennie McCourt.
He graduated from Savannah High School, in Savannah, Missouri.
He loved his daughters and nieces very much. He played many sports and was an amateur MMA fighter.
Dennie was preceded in death by: his grandparents, G.L. and Carol Tackett, Marvis and Luke Slagle, and Dennie Ted McCourt, Sr.; brother, Jeremy McCourt; uncle, Ralph Tackett; and cousin, Matthew McKelvey.
Survivors include: his daughters, Jensen McCourt, of Union Star, Missouri; Adelie McCourt, of St. Joseph; parents, Ann (Tim) Slagle, of Skidmore, Missouri; Dennie (Karen) McCourt, of Bethany, Missouri; two brothers, Tim (Lonna) McCourt, of Oregon, Chris (Harley) McCourt, of Maryville, Missouri; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Elizabeth Woosley, of Stewartsville, Missouri, and Connie McCourt, of Webster Springs, West Virginia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon.
Family visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Interment at Rulo Cemetery, Rulo, Nebraska.
Memorials may be directed to the funeral home to help with expenses.
