TOWN OF ASHFORD, N.Y. (WIVB) — New York State Police were led on a high-speed motorcycle chase that led to charges against two people Thursday.

While patrolling in the Town of Ellicottville, State Police say they noticed two motorcycles speeding by at 78 MPH in a 55 MPH zone.

After passing by, the motorcyclists noticed a Trooper’s car pull out to chase them, so they sped up to 120 MPH, according to State Police.

Authorities kept up, chasing them northbound into the Town of Ashford, they say. At this point, Troopers say the motorcyclists were going even faster than 120 MPH.

Eventually, State Police say the operators turned onto Henrietta Rd.

Troopers patrolling the area say they found the motorcycles hidden behind a farm, and their operators hiding in some brush.

The motorcyclists were identified as Lancaster resident Justin Liszewski, 25, and 26-year-old North Tonawanda resident Danielle DiPasquale.

The two were charged with reckless endangerment and given multiple traffic tickets.
