San Diego Musical Theatre opened the second production of their 2015 season, Singin' in the Rain, May 22 - June 7, 2015, at the Spreckels Theatre on Broadway in downtown San Diego.  Check out a first look at highlights below!

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was held earlier today, May 27th in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets. ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY star Kristin Chenoweth stopped by today's LIVE to talk about her new Broadway musical and shared her gratitude for being blessed with musical talent.

ON THE TOWN's Alysha Umphress and Jay Armstrong Johnson stopped by this morning's TODAY to perform the number 'I Can Cook Too' from the hit Broadway musical.

Today in 2001, the first Broadway revival of Bells Are Ringing opened at the Plymouth Theatre (now the Gerald Shoenfeld Theatre), where it ran for 68 performances. Bells Are Ringing is a musical with a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green and music by Jule Styne. The story revolves around Ella, who works at an answering service and the characters that she meets there. The original Broadway production, directed by Jerome Robbins and choreographed by Robbins and Bob Fosse, opened on November 29, 1956 at the Shubert Theatre, where it ran for slightly more than two years, and starred Judy Holliday as Ella and Sydney Chaplin as Jeff Moss.

Sickness didn't stop the show however, and the company celebrated their opening on the originally planned March 12- last night!
