Rollover Crash Spills 150 Gallons Of Asphalt Sealant On I-55
Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
PLAINFIELD, IL — A rollover crash spilled more than 150 gallons of asphalt sealant on northbound I-55 in Plainfield Township on Friday afternoon, state police said. Around 3:15 p.m., state troopers were on the scene of the crash on I-55 south of Route 30.
Police said the right two lanes were closed for investigation and cleanup.
Drivers were advised to please slow down, avoid the area or seek an alternate route.
