FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) – Power crews from Riviera Utilities are joining efforts to restore power to areas affected by Hurricane Michael. 16 Riviera Utilities employees will go to Dothan, Alabama, to help clear downed power lines and trees, replace damaged power poles and rebuild the electric system.

“We are proud to help restore power to those affected by Hurricane Michael, who have experienced widespread and long-term outages. We have pulled crews from throughout our service area so that we can continue to provide safe, reliable and affordable electric service to our customers here in Baldwin County while also providing critical restoration assistance in Dothan,” said Miles McDaniel, public affairs manager of Riviera Utilities. “There is an immediate need for infrastructure restoration, and our crews will provide assistance until they are no longer needed.”
