Special delivery! New mother Kim Kardashian gets pink roses from best friend Jonathan Cheban

Jonathan Cheban may just be the most loyal best friend in Kim Kardashian's life.

After racing around for the past few days running errands on behalf of the reality star he was seen picking up a bouquet of pink and white roses to take to the new mother.

Cheban stopped off at the Empty Vase in West Hollywood, California to get the flowers and then delivered them to Kim at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

She has been in the world for less than a full day yet Kim and Kanye West's new baby daughter already takes after her reality star mother in the looks department.

The new born is said to pay a strong resemblance to the striking brunette and looks less like her rapper father.

A source close to the couple has revealed that the little girl is truly a Kardashian Mini-Me.

'She has dark hair,' the source revealed to E News. 'She looks just like Kim.'

The news of the baby bearing a striking resemblance to Kim will no doubt delight the Kardashian clan and their army of fans around the world.

Kim and Kanye's baby weighed in at just 'under five pounds' at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles this morning and was almost one month premature.

An insider revealed her original due date was July 12th, the date of Kanye's departed mother Donda's  birthday, however the couple are delighted everything went well.

It's understood that the little girl is perfectly healthy but that no name has been released yet although the same source confirmed to E that it will start with a K.

The baby was delivered at the same hospital where her sister Kourtney and her partner Scott Disick had their two children Penelope and Mason.

Proud father Kanye, who skipped out on a listening party for his latest album in Los Angeles on Friday, was at Kim's side during the birth when the baby was delivered naturally and without any complications.

An insider told UsMagazine.com that Kanye wouldn't have missed the arrival of their first child for anything, saying: 'Of course, Kanye was there with Kim when she went to the hospital and had the baby.

'She started to feel sick late last night [Friday] and was having contractions.'

Kim's best female friend socialite Brittny Gastineau was spotted at Cedars Sinai hospital on Saturday with her mother Lisa Gastineau dropping off some gifts for the new mother and her bundle of joy.

While Kim's best male friend Jonathan Cheban was also photographed nearby getting some supplies and gifts for his superstar best friend earlier in the day.

Celebrities where quick to send congratulatory Twitter messages to happy new parents Kim and Kanye and their VIP daughter.

Messages of love and support for the ecstatic couple came from the likes of Bethenny Frankel, Maria Menounos, Russell Simmons, Nasir Jones and DJ Pauly D.

It's been a stressful week for the pair as rumours circulated that he cheated on her with a Canadian model after they met at one of his shows, though spokespeople for both Kim and Kanye vigorously deny the claims.

The 36-year-old rapper, who celebrated his birthday on June 8, was last spotted at the Yeezus listening party in Switzerland Tuesday.

He's been heavily active in promoting his new album, due out on Tuesday, and fans wondered whether he was referring to his post-Kardashian lifestyle in the lyrics to his track, New Slave.

Kim was last seen out and about on Wednesday in a baby bump-hugging green Top Shop dress having lunch at Casa Vega with her friend Jonathan Cheban.

On Friday her mother Kris Jenner was spotted visiting her pregnant daughter's Los Angeles mansion, possibly ready to get a head start with the packing.
