Mehra says, “Diplo knew he wanted the video to have shots of a palace, and of a bus, the decked-up, heavily-crowded kind. It was a crazy schedule, but it’s great to see the response it has generated,” he says.

But the shoot would not have been complete without a touch of madness that defines Major Lazer. Mehra says, “When the backup dancers were travelling to the set, they were stopped by cops for suspicion of human trafficking. It’s only after they saw their dancer’s union cards that they were convinced. That delayed the shoot by hours.”
