Kraft Heinz Will Leave Northfield For Downtown Chicago

It's unknown how many of the company's 2,000 employees will make the move.

Kraft Heinz will leave its village of Northfield headquarters next year in favor of a 170,000 square-foot space at the Aon Center in downtown Chicago, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The company’s current 700,000 square-foot space and two-floor flexible work space in Northfield will close at the year’s end as a new company will be bought to take over a lease with seven years remaining. Major renovations have taken place at the Northfield offices in recent years.

Beginning on January 1, Kraft Heinz will operate on floors 72 through 76 at the Aon Center. A spokesperson said it is still unknown how many of the 2,000 employees in Northfield will make the move to Chicago.
