For the third time in two months, a 19-year-old Yucaipa woman has been arrested on suspicion of operating a drug house, and again other occupants found in the home have been arrested on drug or probation violations, according to a San Bernardino County sheriff’s news release.

“Based on the investigation, it is believed the four suspects are all involved in the ongoing vehicle burglaries, thefts, and ongoing check fraud crimes,” the news release stated. The target house is in the 13000 block of Fifth Street in Yucaipa.

On Friday, Oct. 20, Yucaipa deputies and a probation officer went to the residence to check on a person who is on felony probation and while there found others reportedly in possession of methamphetamines, narcotics paraphernalia, and suspected stolen credit cards and mail.

Misty Laur, 19, the homeowner, was arrested on suspicion of operating a drug house; Cameron Hill, 28, a Yucaipa transient, was arrested for probation violation; Trevor Ponce, 25, a Victorville transient, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and Ariel Mcgrew, 24, of Cherry Valley was arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

Laur remains in custody at the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino. Her bail is set at $100,000. Hill remains in custody at the same facility on a probation violation hold, according to jail records. Ponce and Mcgrew received citations and were released Saturday, Oct. 21.

Yucaipa’s problem-oriented policing team, detectives and San Bernardino County Probation officers first went to the home Aug. 30 to serve a search warrant and arrested Laur then. She was arrested again Sept. 8 when a fugitive recovery team returned to the house, found narcotics and evidence of drug use in the residence, according to the news release.

Six other people were arrested at that time for various charges, including possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of stolen property, forgery and probation violations.
