'She was a legend': Million Dollar Listing star Josh Flagg's grandmother Edith dies at age 94

Reality TV has lost one of its favorite characters.

Million Dollar Listing star Josh Flagg confirmed to TMZ that his grandmother Edith passed away at the age of 94 on Wednesday.

'My grandmother was a legend, not only in my eyes, but in the eyes of the countless people she helped and touched,' the 28-year-old real estate agent told the site.

Edith was a holocaust survivor who worked in the fashion business. The textiles pioneer was one of the first people to import a high grade polyester into the US.

The petite mogul often appeared on her grandson's Bravo show, which follows young agents as they sell premiere properties around Southern California.

On Wednesday Josh tweeted, 'At 6am this morning, Edith Flagg, my grandmother, passed away. She was my best friend. I love you grandma, my darling wonderful woman. You are my hero. I will see you again one day... It may be a while... But I promise we will be together again.'

He shared a photo of her holding his wrist as they walked up a road.

According to TMZ, 'Edith fled her native Austria at the age of 19 to escape the Nazis, eventually making it to the US in the 1940s, where she built her fortune in the fashion industry.'

She was a big supporter of the United Jewish Welfare Fund and The City of Hope.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, she was worth an estimated $100m.

Though Edith was born in Romania, she studied fashion design in Vienna. At the end of the war she moved to Palestine, then the US. Her first husband Hans Stein was captured by the Nazis and died at Auschwitz in 1944.

Her second husband Eric Flagg died in 1999 at the age of 83.

When Josh was 14-years-old he wrote a book about his grandmother, A Simple Girl: Stories My Grandmother Told Me. It was published in 2009 before his Million Dollar Listing fame.
