1. Create a series ? Creating a series is one of the best ways to have a regular stream of content. To be clear, a series is different than a group of articles based around a topic or idea. The nice thing about a series is that you can apply it weekly, monthly, or even quarterly for a consistent form of content that users become familiar with. Common examples of a series might be regular interviews with people within the industry, product reviews of new products in an around your niche, a series about the state of your industry noting changes and important information, or even Best Of lists. Whatever you decide on, be consistent with the production so that people look forward to the next installment.
2. Launch a podcast ? With the advances in smartphone technology, anyone can produce a decent podcast with one of the newer, high-end phones. Even decent video equipment is not as expensive as it once was if you decide that the cost is worthwhile. The key to a good podcast is two-fold. First, find people within your field and industry that want to sit down and talk. Friends and colleagues are a good place to start. Second, prior to sitting down make sure to outline topics or ideas to discuss which is helpful to prevent lulls. Podcasts tend to work best when they are natural and organic, however an idea list can be useful when conversations drop off.
