Twenty years have passed, but it seems like not much has changed for the Trainspotting gang.

The teaser trailer for the sequel to Danny Boyle's 1996 cult hit dropped Monday, and shows a brief glimpse of Ewen Bremner's Spud, Ewan McGregor's Renton, Jonny Lee Miller's Sick Boy and Robert Carlyle's Begbie in a line-up just like the group's arrival to the Scottish countryside in the original film.

The trailer also revealed that the sequel will be called T2: Trainspotting, which may be veering a little close to the title of another well-known sequel, but we'll give it a pass since Boyle lived up to his promise of bringing back the original cast.

Otherwise, we don't have a clue what has happened to our favorite spunky heroin addicts or what they will be up to in T2: Trainspotting, though McGregor has boasted that the script by John Hodge is “really, really, really good." Hopefully it can live up to that traumatizing nightmare baby scene.

T2: Trainspotting is set to hit theaters Feb. 3, 2017.

It's 1996 all over again as 'Trainspotting 2' films in Scotland
