Recognize This Man? He Vandalized Property At Mt. Rainier

The man apparently lit a fee box on fire and took its contents, according to the National Park Service.

CARBONADO, WA - The National Park Service is trying to find a man who vandalized property inside Mount Rainier National Park - and then stole its contents.

There were at least three incidents of vandalism in early July. The first was overnight between July 3 and 4; the second happened July 5 around 3 a.m.; and the third happened July 6 around 10:30 p.m.

According to the National Park Service, the man in the picture vandalized fee boxes near Mowich Lake and Paul Peak. Both of those sites are off Mowich Lake Road/SR 165 on the northwest side of the park.

The man was seen leaving the scene in a grey or blue mid-2000s Suzuki XL7. If you know anything, contact the National Park Service at (202) 379-4761.
