1 person shot after domestic disturbance call in Brownsburg

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — A man has been sent to the hospital after being shot in Brownsburg.

Officers with the Brownsburg Police Department were called to the 400 block of Sugarbush Lane just before 2:30 p.m. Friday on a domestic disturbance call.

Police arrived to find a man shot. He was transported to a hospital and is undergoing surgery.

Police believe a woman inside the home shot him. While being questioned by officers, she suffered a medical episode and was transported to a medical facility.

BPD officers are in the process of securing a warrant to search the home.

It is not immediately known if both persons live in that home or what their relationship is.
