Sears Hometown Store opening in fall in Dubuque

Dubuque shoppers will soon be able to buy Sears-branded products.

Rick and Mary Jo Jaeger will open a Sears Hometown store in Asbury Plaza on Arterial Drive this fall.

The store will carry appliances, tools, mattresses, and fitness equipment. Customers will also be able to order products online and pick them up without a shipping charge.

"I'm excited about the opportunity to bring back the Sears products to the customers in Dubuque and our surrounding communities and offer even more great products and services" said Rick Jaeger.

The Dubuque location will be one of 17 Sears Hometown Stores in Iowa. There are more than one thousand stores across the U.S. and in Puerto Rico and Bermuda.

Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores spun off from Sears Holdings in 2012.
