Shirley Ann Terrell, 77, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 14, 1940, in Bedford, the daughter of Oral and Faye (Hobson) Keller. On October 18, 1956, she married William A. “Bill” Terrell, Jr., and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 18, 2006. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2009.

Shirley is survived by her sons, William Terrell, III and wife, Amy, of Flat Rock, and Jerry Terrell of Morristown; daughters, Debbie Hagen of Monticello, Teresa Ballman and husband, Bryan, of Waynesville, Ohio, and Karen Hauk and husband, Ted, of Carthage; sister, Barbara Darlene Ellison and husband, Richard, of Bedford; grandchildren, Matthew Hagen, Heidi Hagen Lightner and husband, Brad, Hannah Hagen Rizor and husband, John, Nathan Ballman, Ryan Ballman, Justin Hauk, Jordan Hauk and Allyson Hauk; great-grandchildren, Ava, Elliot, Vera, Paysen, Aleah, Jackson and Ayden; and nephews, Mark and Robert Ellison

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald “Duke” Keller; son-in-law, Stephen Hagen; and nephew, Roger Keller

Shirley was a dedicated member of the Morristown Church of the Nazarene for over 55 years. She was elected as a steward/board member for several years, conducting numerous tasks around the church and helping wherever needed.

She retired from NOK Freudenburg, as an inspector, with over 30 years of service.

Shirley cherished the time she spent with her family, both cooking and hosting them for family dinners. Her family felt very blessed to be a part of her life and she will be dearly missed.

She also enjoyed gardening, reading the Bible and inspirational books and she shared Bill’s love of music.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown and from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Morristown Church of the Nazarene, 556 E. Main St. in Morristown.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with Rev. Todd Reynolds officiating.

Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
