She's still perfectly bonny.

We were delighted here at Echo towers to have a visit from Tina Wainde, who was on holiday in Weymouth and visiting a friend.

Tina, 50, from Hinckley, Leicestershire, was trying to track down a photo of herself from the Dorset Daily Echo when she was crowned Little Miss Weymouth in 1972 aged four!

We were able to help Tina find the photo from her five minutes of fame from the paper on Monday, August 14, 1972.

Tina, who was then Tina Crofts, remembers: "I was on holiday in Weymouth with the whole family and I entered this competition, along with my sister and I happened to win it.

"I remember I won a doll as well and it was the same height as me!"

In the article, featuring a photo of a very cute-looking Tina, it says: "Elated with her win - four-year-old Tina Louise Crofts smiles for the camera after winning last week's Little Miss Weymouth contest at Weymouth Pier Bandstand."

Weymouth was one of Tina's favourite holiday destinations back then, and still is, 46 years later.

She said: "I have lovely memories of Weymouth, we came here so often as a child. I even remember getting lost on the beach!"
