ATV Stolen From Oak Creek Resident's Front Yard: Report
Police in Oak Creek say an ATV on a trailer was parked in a resident's front yard ... until it wasn't.
OAK CREEK, WI -- Police responded to a home on the 7400 block of S. Pennsylvania Ave. just before 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 6 on a report that a homeowner's ATV was stolen from their front yard.
According to Oak Creek police reports, the homeowner called police, stating that a suspect stole the ATV and trailer that were parked in their front yard. The four-wheeler was described as a 1999 350 Banshee with a blue paint job, and a camo cover. The four-wheeler was valued at $3,000, the trailer was valued at $500 and the cover at $150.
Police said the four-wheeler and trailer were stolen sometime between 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. that evening. Police reported finding a piece of cracked tail light in the yard where the trailer was dragged from the front lawn. Police also said the trailer had a sticker on the front right that read "Ditch the [friend], and let's go racin'."
