Men's Golf Announces 2018 Signing Class

| By:

Three golfers, Daniel Core, Pat Healy and Derek Kim, will join the 2018-19 Columbia Men's Golf Team.

NEW YORK—Columbia men's golf coach Rich Mueller officially announced the program's 2018 recruiting class on Wednesday morning. Columbia will welcome three golfers to the 2018-19 team including Daniel Core, Pat Healy and Derek Kim.

"We've again found three highly capable young men whose junior golf careers precede them," Mueller said. "This group brings experience, prior success on the national and international level and a strong desire to win an Ivy League Championship. When you couple this recruiting class with the foundation built by our upperclassmen, good things are bound to happen."

The three student-athletes join seven returnees including senior Sunny Yan, juniors Nick Brisebois and Cullen Chung and sophomores Arjun Puri, John Robertson, Youn Sung Kim and Dan Terrell.

Since taking over the men's program in 2005, Mueller has guided Columbia men's golf to four Ivy League team championships, three individual Ivy League championships, five NCAA post-season appearances and 25 All-Ivy League individual golf performances.
