EAST CHARLESTON — The board of trustees of the NorthWoods Stewardship Center announced the appointment of Jonathan Gilbert as the organization’s new executive director. The NorthWoods Stewardship Center is an environmental non-profit in its 29th year of outdoor education, forestry, and conservation service programming, based in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and serving communities throughout New England.
Originally from Quebec and now 20 years in Vermont, Gilbert is a co-founder of Heartbeet Lifesharing in Hardwick. He arrives with a vast range of life experiences in community building.
