West Ham veteran Patrice Evra has joked about his age with former Manchester United teammate Paul Pogba.

The two Frenchmen have known each other for years – playing together at international level, United and Juventus.

So, for Evra's birthday, the midfielder decided to congratulate his pal.

“How old are you today?" Pogba asks in an Instagram clip.

Evra responds: “So I'm actually 37 in Europe but in Senegal I'm 45.

“Without the tax I'm 37, with the tax I'm 45."

The 25-year-old is clearly surprised by what Evra says and tells him: “Shh, don't say those things, people can see it."

But the pair then burst out into laughter at the bizarre moment.
