Melissa Rauch, husband Winston welcome daughter Sadie Rauch!

Melissa Rauch

Mrs. Carter: There’s some very happy news to report here today when it comes to The Big Bang Theory star Melissa Rauch!

Just a few weeks before Christmas, the actress confirmed via a post on Instagram that she and her husband Winston Rauch have welcomed a baby girl in Sadie Rauch. Christmas came early for these two new parents this year! Take a look at some of what she had to say on the subject:

I am beyond over the moon to share that our beautiful baby girl, Sadie Rauch, has arrived and our hearts are bursting at the seams with love for her. I will never take for granted the difficult road it took to get here. To those on that road: I’m sending you so much love today and always.

In this message, Rauch is referring to a miscarriage that she previously suffered prior to getting pregnant with Sadie. It’s a heartbreaking story that many women out there can relate to, one that she previously discussed at the time of her pregnancy announcement. She and Winston are now proud parents, but they are not forgetting what came before. The two now get a chance to ring in the holidays with a new baby girl, and it’s one of the most wonderful times of the year (to quote a popular song) in order to bring a baby into the world.

What’s coming up for Bernadette?

As many fans of The Big Bang Theory know Rauch’s character is currently expecting her second child with husband Howard Wolowitz. The pregnancy took the two by surprise and it’s not entirely clear yet when the baby will be born on the show. Their first daughter in Halley is voiced by Better Things actress Pamela Adlon — the baby never appears on screen similar to Howard’s late mother, but you do often hear her crying. If the writers choose to do the same thing with the new baby, what that could mean is that Howard and Bernadette’s house is about to get very loud and chaotic.
