Newtown 1-1 Cefn Druids: Both sides failed in their quest for a first win of the season as Nick Rushton scored a late equaliser for the hosts. Cefn Druids had led since the 12th minute thanks to an Ashley Ruane penalty.

Aberystwyth Town 0-2 Llandudno FC: The visitors showed their impressive performance on the first day of the season was no flash in the pan as they secured an away win with two second half goals. Danny Shaw and Danny Hughes scored the goals.

Prestatyn Town 1-0 Barry Town United: The home side edged the battle of the new boys in the WPL thanks to a late, late show, with Mike Parker scoring the winner three minutes into added on time.

The New Saints 3-0 Bala Town: The New Saints recovered from their shock 5-2 defeat to Bangor on the opening day with a comfortable win over Bala Town. Bala held firm for almost an hour before Blaine Hudson gave TNS the lead before a nine minute double from Wes Fletcher made the points safe.

Cardiff Metropolitan 3-1 Bangor City: Bangor City came back down to earth with a bump after their shock opening day hammering of the New Saints. The Students were inspired by striker Adam Roscrow, who scored either side of the break after Eliot Evans' opener. Veteran former Premier League star Gary Taylor-Fletcher scored Bangor's consolation.

Connah's Quay Nomads 3-1 Carmarthen Town: Nomads made it back-to-back wins to open the season with after proving too strong for Carmarthen Town. Callum Morris gave them the lead at the break before Mike Wilde doubled their advantage. Lewis Harling gave Carmarthen hope, before Matthew Williams made the points safe on 89 minutes.
