Jenkins was remanded in custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court
A GALASHIELS man has appeared in private at Selkirk Sheriff Court charged with two counts of rape.
Frederick Jenkins also faces two assault charges, a stalking offence and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
The 47-year-old made no plea and the case was continued for further examination.
Jenkins was remanded in custody by Sheriff Derrick McIntyre. He is due to appear in court again within eight days.
