DOLAN SPRINGS, Ariz. (KSNV) - Four people were killed when a tour bus and another vehicle crashed about 50 miles south of Las Vegas Sunday afternoon.

The crash occurred about 1:40 p.m. on U.S. 93 near Pierce Ferry Road, just a few miles south of Dolan Springs.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the four victims were identified as Chinese National Citizens that were visiting the U.S. from Guangdong, China. The driver was identified as 52-year-old Guang Xiang Li, while the passengers were identified as Suiqing Ou, 52, Sangqin Bi, 52, and Yuetong Li, 19.

An investigation into the crash determined the van with the victims failed to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign and was struck by the bus. All occupants of the van were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Early reports included that the tour bus was a Dallas Cowboys bus. The passengers on the bus were not injured.

Mickey Spagnola, a sports writer with DallasCowboys.com, wrote on Twitter around 1:30 p.m. Sunday that they were 80 miles outside of Las Vegas, heading to GameWorks at Town Square.

According to a "Road Trippin' 2016" schedule on the Dallas Cowboys website, the bus did not have any players or cheerleaders but instead had Spagnola, a bus driver, a mascot, and a videographer on board for the 1,900-mile trip from Texas to Oxnard, Calif.

A spokeswoman at GameWorks said a Las Vegas fan group had arranged for the bus to visit the facility before it headed to California for a Monday arrival in West Hollywood.

"We had about 80 people here waiting for them," said Greg Freeman, president of the Las Vegas Cowboys fan group. "We had been working for about four years to get them to stop in Las Vegas, because they no longer will be training in Oxnard, so this was the last chance. We heard about the crash on Google and then when they were late showing up and somebody called us."
