Kansas Game Wardens hunting for juvenile hawk killer
Hawk was shot Tuesday morning in north central Kansas
Game Wardens from Kansas’ Wildlife, Parks and Tourism department are trying to find the person who shot a juvenile red tail hawk on Tuesday morning.
The hawk was shot in Esbon, Kansas in Jewell County, which is in the north central portion of the state. They think it was shot near the intersection of Road R and Road 40 between 8:10 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Anyone who can help identify the suspect or suspects are asked to call Operation Game Thief at 877-426-3843.
