ESPN anchor Linda Cohn is suing a hockey arena in Brewster, N.Y., due to injuries suffered after a coin machine fell on top of her there.

Cohn, a SUNY-Oswego alum, was set to make an appearance on March 27 at the arena for the AHL's Hartford Wolfpack.

Cohn tweeted about the incident on March 28, noting she had to miss the appearance and get stiches on her arm after the machine fell on her due to some kids playing with the machine and knocking it over on her.

The lawsuit says that Cohn "continues to endure great pain and suffering," and "continues to be unable to engage in and attend to all daily activities, pursuits and pleasure associated with (her) person and station in life."

The suit seeks unspecified monetary damages.

Cohn played goalie in college while attending SUNY-Oswego. She has worked at ESPN since 1992.
